In an interview with Khaneh Mellat, Ebrahim Azizi congratulated the Iraqi nation and government on holding a sound election with widespread public participation, saying:
“The historic presence of the Iraqi people neutralized foreign plots and interventions, including efforts by the United States, Israel, and Britain to impact the electoral process.”
The Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee added:
“These actors intended to shape a parliament submissive to colonial and compliant agendas—one that would weaken Iraq’s political structures and destabilize the region. However, the vigilant participation of the Iraqi people demonstrated that the fate of Iraq rests solely in the hands of its nation and legitimate institutions.”
The representative of Shiraz and Zarqan stressed:
“This vigilant and well-managed election can pave the way for strengthening Iraq’s national sovereignty, political and security independence, and the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country in accordance with Iraq’s national interests.”
